Fighting Drug Abuse
Operation Thoofan – The Narco Hunt, initiated by the Kerala Police, aims to strengthen legal action against drug trafficking while building a broad public movement against drug abuse through active community participation.
Protecting the Younger Generation
Implemented with the cooperation of the Education, Health, and Excise Departments, the initiative places special emphasis on preventing the spread of narcotic substances, particularly synthetic drugs, through strong awareness campaigns.
Carrying the message “Say No to Drugs, Protect Our Young Generation,” students actively participated in the rally, making it a powerful symbol of the anti-drug movement. Their enthusiastic participation highlighted the importance of encouraging young people to become active partners in spreading awareness from schools to the wider community.
The programme was organized through the joint cooperation of Pozhuthana Grama Panchayat and Vythiri Police. Beyond legal awareness, the initiative aimed to strengthen social responsibility among the public in combating drug abuse.
